Details for the Session in Olympia:

PLEASE NOTE participants are responsible to make their own hotel reservations in Athens if necessary

Buses will depart from the Attalos Hotel for Olympia on the morning of June 21, and return to the Attalos hotel (via Athens Airport) the afternoon of June 27.  www.attaloshotel.com

REGISTRATION:

• A full Session will be held in Olympia
• DATES: 21 - 27 June 2023
• FEES:
  • €125 to register to the Session in Olympia;
    • The registration fee includes costs for conference organisation, bus transfer from Athens to Olympia and back, with visit to Mycenae on June 21st, welcome refreshments in Olympia, dinner at Magna Grecia Agrotourism Farm, pool party social evening, participant gift, and miscellaneous expenses of the session.  The registration fee is not reimbursable.
  • €125 for meals (full board for 7 days);
  • Between €300 and €1080 for accommodations, depending on your choice. Prices below are per person and cover 6 nights' accommodation at the IOA in Olympia.
    For accommodation at the IOA, please select one option between single room, twin room or triple room. Superior rooms, including a suite (with living room) are also available, with one double bed. If you select a twin room or a triple room, you will be paired with other participants.

GUESTS**:

We are happy to confirm that members will now be able to bring a guest for the in-person Session in Olympia. Your guest will have to pay for their accommodations fees, meals and transportation (if applicable). They could also attend our Session, space permitting. In that case, they will also have to pay for the registration fee (transportation included in this case). Guests have to be 18 years or older.

Hans van Haute Fund:

Created in Hans’ memory, the purpose of this fund is to aid those former IOA participants, coordinators, or lecturers who would like to attend an IOAPA session but cannot do so due to lack of financial resources.

You can make a voluntary contribution to Hans van Haute Fund (optional)

• The optional contribution to the Hans van Haute Fund is used to provide financial assistance to a participant who would not otherwise be able to attend an in-person session in Olympia.
