The Executive Committee of the International Olympic Academy Participants Association would like to congratulate Mr. Thomas Bach on becoming the International Olympic Committee’s 9th President. May his presidency mark a new era in the Olympic Movement.
That was close! With a marginal majority win in the 1st voting round during the 125th IOC Session in Buenos Aires, Wrestling managed to remain in the Olympic Games. The Executive Committee of IOAPA would like to congratulate FILA for their efforts.
東京おめでとう Tokyo it is! From the lips of IOC President Dr. Jacques Rogge and after a long vote during the 125th IOC Session in Buenos Aires, the 2020 Olympic Games were awarded for the second time since 1964 to Tokyo. The Executive Committee of the International Olympic Academy Participants Association would like to congratulate Tokyo for the win and wish all the best in the preparations!
